EPA Workshop on Small Drinking Water System Compliance Strategies
EPA’s Office of Research and Development, in concert with the Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water, will be hosting a “Small Drinking Water System Compliance Strategies” workshop in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 30-September 1 (two full days, followed by one-half day). The workshop will focus primarily on various treatment technologies and strategies that are effective for getting and keeping small water systems in compliance. The workshop will feature presentations by national experts on these issues, sharing of state strategies and approaches, and time for discussions and interactions. Here are the particulars:
- Who: State drinking water program personnel are the principal audience; some TA providers and small system operators are also expected to attend.

Travel Support: ASDWA will support the travel of at least one traveler per state, and, hopefully, all who wish to attend. Please submit an e-mail to Tom Maves at tmaves@asdwa.org by Monday, June 27th with an indication of who from your state would like travel support. We will plan to confirm with all travelers the first week in July so that they’ll have a couple of months to make their travel plans.
